It’s been a long time coming since we’ve been able to see family and friends since COVID took place – 2020 was certainly a year filled with many changes and challenges. However, I’m hopeful for the possibilities that 2021 brings, especially with more opportunities to see and spend time with friends and family. On one particular note, as life begins to shift back to “normalcy”, we received a visit from Georgia and her family. It was a request made by Georgia as her mom stated – we all laughed together as she was sharing this. It’s been almost two years since we’ve last seen their family and it was such a wonderful time to connect and relish over the memories we had of Georgia in the daycare. Georgia remains the bright and curious little girl she was when she left the daycare and continues to surprise us with her growing knowledge. It’s especially heartwarming when children remember my mom as families come and go and naturally just lose touch. We feel absolutely blessed to continue to remain in contact with families like Cathy and Chris’s and look forward to many more reunions!
